Cool Tats

Saw this from a WhichWich worker. I asked to take a picture. I thought this was nicely done for a tattoo. It’s a work of art. I don’t think I’m brave enough to get one, but it doesn’t mean I cannot admire someone who already got it done. Oh yeah, the sandwich was delicious. I had to smuggle it like a contraband because I wanted to see Charlie St. Cloud, and I was hungry. I didn’t want to eat popcorn, I don’t like those things. I also don’t like hotdogs…so I smuggled the sandwich in. I did buy overpriced soda in the theater because I feels so guilty having to break this rule. But, I needed to eat, bad!

Rome is Calling

The Author of this post is Freddy Savage

One of my favorite movies is Roman Holiday. It is a classic chick flick but, a classic movie in general as well. It is the story of a young European Princess who escapes the confines of her royal obligations to roam free around the city of eternal light. The beautiful Audrey Hepburn stars in her first role and is so enthralling. Rome is enchanting and very romantic as she eats gelato on the Spanish Steps and dances by the Tiber River. The movie is like a mini vacation in the span of a couple of hours and it is so easy to watch on my direct TV.

While the Princess is running around Rome, she meets an American reporter who pretends to be her friend so he can write a juicy story about her. However, as they spend more time together it becomes apparent that they are starting to fall for one another. The movie revolves around their romance and it becomes one of uncertainty as the time comes for them to separate. They eventually realize they cannot be together.

The ending is sad and bitter sweet. I kept wanting the Princess to run after her reporter but, it never happens! I guess sometimes there are not happy endings in real life. Despite this, “Roman Holiday” remains one of my favorite movies of all time.

We’re Going On A Short Vacation

We’re going on a short summer vacation. Emphasis on the ‘short’. We’re going to leave on a Sunday noon, and will be back on Tuesday 8ish. Have to work Wednesday at 3AM. We’re going to rent a van because I can’t quite trust the battery gauge in my Astro. It dips low, then lower and then up again and nobody can figure it out. It doesn’t really die, but I don’t want to chance it.

So, this vacation is costing us money-wise:

$ 205.07  - van rental at Budget

$380.00 – two nights at a cabin in the woods

$ 130.00 – gas for a 750 miles round trip

This does not include food and stuff and fun things. That will be determined later. Oh, and we’ve got to carry our own sheets!

Masterpiece Magic

Thanks for the guest post by Rafael Barnes

I love to eat kc masterpiece potato chips while watching DirecTV. This snack is my favorite thing to munch on because it tastes great, convient, and really hit’s the spot when Im hungry.I am a huge barbeque fan and love cookout so It is a prefect snack for me. Im not normally a fan of chips, but this one is especially tasty.. I first came across this product when I was a little girl. I can home from school, starving and searching for a snack when I came across these delicious chips.. I grabbed it off the shelf and asked her about it. She told me it was this new potato chips with a strong barbeque taste to them initially I threw them back on the shelf and searched for something else to eat. Later that night I still saw them sitting up on the shelf and decided to give them a chance. I usually purchase kc masterpiece potato chips at my local grocery store, but Ive also noticed it is available at dollar stores, and convenience.

It’s All Fun

I never thought I’d be one of those parents who allows electronic games in their house. It turned out that I am. We bought plenty of handheld games. It usually breaks after a few months. Then we graduated to those that connects to television play. It’s quite a lot of fun. Now, we’re thinking playstation 3. They have different game offerings, and there’s one game that plays on this machine that is not offered with the collection of game consoles we have. My children certainly are campaigning for this. I’ve never seen my living room, dining room and kitchen so clean and orderly. Maybe I should just hold it over their heads for a little while longer. It’s like getting a fresh cleaning lady here.
